Research Interests
I am interested in poverty as it relates to urban spatial structure, housing markets, and housing demography. My research focuses on examining the locational and housing choice behavior of low-income households in the U.S. and exploring the question: why the poor live in central cities.

In my dissertation, I plan to examine and theorize how the locational decisions of low-income households are influenced by the availability of urban services (e.g. housing, and transportation services).
